Who invoices us, and is it GST-compliant?
Rising Star Tour and Travels, trading as TravelDham. One consolidated GST-compliant invoice covers the whole file — air, hotel, ground, visas, production — rather than separate bills from separate vendors.
Can we claim input tax credit on this?
It depends on how the file is structured: a bundled tour package and an unbundled service-fee arrangement carry different GST rates and different ITC positions. Most finance teams have a preference. Say which one yours needs and the desk confirms the structure at contracting, before the first invoice is raised.
What do you send for vendor empanelment?
PAN, GSTIN, certificate of incorporation and bank details, sent on request. Mention it in the brief and the onboarding pack travels with the first quote instead of holding up the purchase order later.
Do you file the business visas yourselves?
Yes. The same in-house desk that files tourist and business visas for over 50 countries every day on traveldham.com/visa handles the group's filings and invitation letters. It is not subcontracted, which is why visa filing can run in parallel with contracting instead of after it.
What should we budget per person?
A domestic team offsite runs roughly ₹4,000 to ₹25,000 per person depending on nights and standard, a premium domestic incentive ₹25,000 to ₹50,000, and overseas programmes from about ₹65,000 in Malaysia to ₹2,50,000 in Europe. Those are indicative bands for groups of roughly 30 to 100, published in our own MICE guide; over 100 people the per-head figure comes down. A brief turns the band into a number.
How far in advance should we start?
Six to eight weeks for a domestic group under fifty. Three to four months for a larger domestic group or a premium venue. Three to six months for anything overseas, because visa filing and group air both need room. Later than that is not a no — it is a shorter shortlist, and the desk will tell you straight whether your date holds.
How quickly do we get costed options?
24 to 48 hours from a complete brief. A complete brief means event type, destination, approximate headcount, month and a budget signal — the five fields the form asks for.
What size groups do you handle?
Routinely from around 10 people to several hundred, in India and overseas. What changes with size is the air strategy, the number of properties and the size of the on-ground team, set out in the capacity section above.
Can we inspect the venue before committing?
For larger events, yes — a site inspection sits between the costed options and contracting, so the venue is seen before any money is committed to it.
We are an event agency, not the end client. Do you work with us?
Yes. Ground handling, DMC services and group air are sold to event agencies and PCOs as capacity. Say so in the brief and the desk quotes it that way.
