1. Universal Studios

Universal Studios Singapore was opened in 2010 with 7 themed zones with 18 attractions – all related to the film studios’ major hit movies.

It has something for all age groups. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Also some souvenir shops to purchase gifts for Family and Friends.

  1. Sentosa Island 

Sentosa is located at the southern tip of Singapore which was built with leisure and relaxation in mind. A collection of beaches, theme parks, golf, shopping, dining and more are all available on this strip of reclaimed land that can be reached by road or cable car. You can also stay in Sentosa, but even if you’re not based on the island, you can easily access all the attractions via MRT in 15 minutes from downtown Singapore.

Sentosa Theme Park offers many attractions for all age groups. The “Song of the Sea” is a Popular Laser show on the Island.

 

  1. Night Safari 

Singapore Night Safari is a unique attraction. It’s not only an interesting place worth a visit but a leading conservation and research centre in Asia.

As a zoo, it offers an unusual glimpse into the nocturnal animal kingdom, with more than 59 exhibits and 1,000 animals to be seen from around the world. These include Himalayan griffon vultures, greater one-horned rhinoceroses, wildebeests and gazelles. You can also experience the ‘Creatures of the Night’ show for a good 20-minute overview of the animals to be seen here. 

  1. Jurong Bird Park

Jurong Bird Park is one of Singapore’s great family attractions, situated on Jurong Hill. It is also the largest bird park in the world, featuring 8,000 birds of more than 600 species. Founded in 1971 and managed by Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Jurong Bird Park was first initiated by Dr Goh Keng Swee, then Minister for Finance, with the prime objective of providing an exclusive leisure zone for the residents of Jurong – little more an industrial area at that time.  

Spread over an area of about 202,000 sq m, Jurong Bird Park is truly a haven for birdwatching aficionados, with a slew of specialities such as the African Waterfall Aviary, the Jungle Jewels Flight Aviary, the Lory Loft and the Southeast Asian Birds Aviary. 

 

  1. Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is a huge, colourful, futuristic park in the bay area of Singapore. Among the standout features are the famous Supertree structures. These offer an impressive skywalk over the gardens, with oversized seashell-shaped greenhouses that recreate chilly mountain climates. There are hundreds of trees and plants making Gardens by the Bay a great destination for both kids and grownups, and simply for those looking for a respite with stunning views.

Over 200 different species of plants and flowers cover the exterior of these tall upright gardens – twice a night, at 7.45pm and 8.45pm, they are a centrepiece of the gardens’ light and music show, casting a glow over the park, and making you feel like you are in a modern fairy tale.

For those who like a view, take the trip 25 metres up to the remarkable walkway that connects 3 of the trees together. The 50-metre tree in the centre offers 360-degree panoramas of the Gardens as well as Marina Bay.

 

  1. Singapore Flyer

The Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel. It is a one-of-a-kind experience and built over a 3-story terminal building, the Flyer is 150 metres in diameter, 165 metres high, and travels at 0.21m per second (it is some 30 metres taller than the famous London Eye!). It has breathtaking panoramic views. Passengers will get to see such city sights as the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Marina Bay, Empress Place and the Padang.   

  1. Orchard Road

Orchard Road is one of the city’s most iconic streets, it is the epicentre of shopping in Singapore. It has local and international department stores, tiny boutiques, offices, spas, beauty salons, hotels, entertainment spots, restaurants, and cafes.

Shopping malls along Orchard are stocked with practically everything under the sun. Plus, there is always some kind of fair or activity taking place in the malls and shopping centres so there are probably more things to do in Orchard than anywhere else in Singapore. 

 

  1. Clarke Quay

This riverside area is packed full of bustling bars and restaurants, boutique shops and pumping nightclubs, attracting a steady stream of tourists alongside Singapore’s party animals. Clarke Quay is located along the body of water that emerges from the city’s main river, with alfresco-style dining to be had in an endless number of eateries along the water’s edge. You will also find some great shopping options as well as a plentiful supply of bars.  

  1. Chinatown

Chinatown is one of the best things to do in Singapore, This Place is great for shopping & authentic Chinese food, as there are countless restaurants and hawker food vendors to choose from. Learn more about its history from the Chinatown Heritage Centre on Pagoda Street. It explains how the Chinese immigrants lived a hard life and were the main group of people who founded Singapore. Other attractions in the area include Thian Hock Keng Temple, the oldest temple in Singapore, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Eu Yan Sang Chinese Medical Hall and Maxwell Road Food Centre.
