Vaishno Devi is one of India's most visited holy shrines, located at 1,585 meters in the Trikuta Hills, attracting millions of pilgrims annually.
Located in the Jammu division of Jammu & Kashmir, the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi resides in the fold of the Trikuta Hills. Pilgrims undertake a 12 km trek from the base camp of Katra to reach the Bhawan, housing the natural stone representations (pindis) of the Goddess.
The yatra path is well-maintained and offers helicopter services from Katra to Sanjichhat, battery-operated cars, and a ropeway connecting the Bhawan to the Bhairon Ghati temple. The yatra remains open for devotees year-round.

Ardhkuwari Temple — A midway stop on the yatra route, hosting the narrow Garbhjun cave where Mata is said to have meditated for nine months.
