A 3-day Mussoorie weekend — Camel Back Road and Gun Hill viewpoints on arrival, then Kempty Falls, Lake Mist, Buddha Temple and Company Garden on Day 2, before the drive back to Delhi.
Perched at 2,005 m in the Garhwal Himalayas, Mussoorie extends along a scenic ridge overlooking the Doon Valley and the Himalayas. Established in the 1820s as a British summer retreat, it remains one of India's most beloved hill stations — with the lively Mall Road at its heart, colonial churches and the peaceful Landour cantonment.
The iconic Camel Back Road — a 3 km loop named after a camel-shaped rock — and Gun Hill (accessible by ropeway) with its 360° panoramas of Doon Valley and the Himalayan ranges are the classic Mussoorie experiences. Kempty Falls, 15 km away, is the most popular waterfall in the region — a multi-tiered cascade with a natural pool. Company Garden, Lake Mist and Buddha Temple complete the circuit.

Kempty Falls — The most popular waterfall near Mussoorie — a 40 ft multi-tiered cascade 15 km from town. The natural pool at the base is perfect for a refreshing dip in summer. Surrounded by pine forests and accessible by road.
Lake Mist & Company Garden — Lake Mist — a scenic artificial lake in a forested valley, popular for boating and picnics. Company Garden — a beautifully maintained botanical garden with flower beds, a small lake and fountain — the most visited garden in Mussoorie.
Mall Road & Landour — Mall Road — Mussoorie's lively social promenade with shops, cafés, Tibetan handicrafts and street food. Landour — a peaceful cantonment village above Mussoorie with old British cottages, pine forest walks and the famous Char Dukan (Four Shops) corner.
