A 5-day circuit from Delhi — Haridwar's Ganga Aarti, Auli skiing and Hanuman Temple, a scenic drive via Devprayag and Vasistha Cave to Rishikesh (Yoga Capital of the World) and the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.
Auli sits at 2,519 m in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand — India's premier ski destination with slopes stretching across 500 acres of alpine terrain. Reached via Joshimath (Asia's longest ropeway at 4 km), Auli offers panoramic views of Nanda Devi and 12 other Himalayan peaks. The circuit begins at Haridwar — one of India's holiest cities — for the spectacular evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
Day 4 on the return takes the scenic route through Devprayag — the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, where the Ganges is officially born — and Vasistha Cave, before arriving in Rishikesh. The evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh, and the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula suspension bridges, complete this spiritual-adventure circuit before the drive back to Delhi.
Auli Ski Slopes & Ropeway — India's finest ski destination — smooth alpine slopes at 2,519 m with ski lifts and instruction for all levels. The 4 km Joshimath–Auli ropeway (one of Asia's longest cable cars) offers breathtaking views of Nanda Devi (7,817 m) and 12 other Himalayan peaks during the ascent.
Hanuman Temple & Auli Trekking — The scenic Hanuman Temple near Auli amidst pine and oak forests. Auli's meadows (bugyals) offer excellent trekking in summer and spring — Gorson Bugyal (3 km), the lake trek, and the Kuari Pass trail are the most popular routes with stunning Himalayan panoramas.
Haridwar — Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri — Haridwar — one of the seven holiest cities in Hinduism — where the Ganges descends from the Himalayas onto the plains. The evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri with thousands of diyas floating on the sacred river is one of India's most moving experiences.
Rishikesh — Triveni Ghat & Suspension Bridges — Rishikesh — the Yoga Capital of the World. The evening musical Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat at Parmarth Niketan is breathtaking. The iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula suspension bridges spanning the Ganges connect ashrams, temples and yoga centres in this Himalayan spiritual town.
Devprayag — Birth of the Ganges — One of India's five sacred Prayags — the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, where the combined stream is officially named the Ganga. The dramatic blue-green confluence framed by Himalayan cliffs is a deeply sacred and visually stunning sight.
Joshimath — Gateway to Auli & Badrinath — Joshimath (1,890 m) is the base town for Auli and the winter seat of Badrinath. Home to ancient temples including Narsingh Temple and the famous Kalp Vriksh (a 1,200-year-old mulberry tree). The local market offers Garhwali woolens and mountain produce.
Morning, meet your driver at Delhi Airport / Railway Station / Hotel and drive to Haridwar (~220 km / ~6 hrs). Arrive Haridwar, check in to your hotel. After freshening up, enjoy the spectacular evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay at Haridwar.
